How to Repair Patio Doors

Clear the Tracks

You can purchase this dry lubricant in a majority of hardware stores in a squeeze bottle that allows you to blow the powder into the lock without touching it. You can also spray WD-40 directly into the lock's cylinder. This will provide an instant burst lubrication but it could be too strong for certain locks. If the cylinder is stuck, try working your key in and out of the lock a few times to spread the WD-40 over all the internal parts that require it.

Replace the Glass
